Leading the Movement: Women, Power, Change 2019

On January 28th 2019, Clore Social Leadership and the Social Change Agency will host a hopeful and ambitious all-day conference to develop and share vital skills for building power and establish a shared vision for the future of the feminist movement.

This groundbreaking women’s leadership conference  will bring together established and emerging feminist leaders from Clore’s Social Leadership’s Women and Girls Programme with new allies and leading figures in the women’s movement.

As well as networking with like-minded women and cultivating new potential partnerships, we will share valuable skills from lobbying and social media strategy to narrative change and movement building.

We have an incredible range of inspiring speakers and facilitators lined up for the day, leading workshops and participatory discussions on everything from intersectionality to power analysis. By creating a safe space of mutual respect and solidarity, we can engage in the debates and discussions our movement urgently needs to address and build power, together.

The conference is part of Clore Social Leadership’s Women and Girls Leadership Programme generously supported by Rosa: The UK Fund for Women and GirlsThe Pilgrim TrustComic Relief, and Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.

Leading the Movement: Women, Power, Change 2019 promises to be a powerful step towards building a movement that offers hope to all women and girls, the courage to challenge the status quo and the power to change the world. Join us.
